Portrait

I came to the realization that jewellery was to be my life-long love at an early stage. I graduated with honours in the goldsmith program at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, before moving on to the Harbourfront Craft Studios in Toronto as a jewellery resident.

I’ve worked in the jewellery trade for the past twenty-two years, increasing my range of skills and ability. I work with a variety of metals though I confine most of my work to platinum, gold, and silver, precious and semi-precious stones. Custom work is created from original concepts, techniques appropriate to the designs to the finished piece. I specialize in the use of cuttlebone casting, braiding and fabrication using traditional goldsmithing techniques as well as modern techniques

After years of industry work I am an instructor at Georgian College in Barrie and create both custom piece as well as store pieces which are sold online or at my personal studio/gallery.

I attempt to push the design envelope taking it to new levels while keeping my quality as high as possible. As every artist, I am an inextricable part of my work as it is a part of me. Created with devotion and emotion, it has helped recreate me.
